Arkansas CRC for Job Seekers
What is a Career Readiness Certificate? The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is a portable, evidence-based credential that certifies the essential skills for workplace success. In Arkansas, you can earn your Career Readiness Certificate at no cost. Your certificate is recorded in ACT’s national RegiSTAR™ database, and this validates your certificate no matter in what state you seek employment.
Why should I earn a Career Readiness Certificate? It indicates that you have the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace. Employers look for it from job candidates, whether they come directly from high school, work-based learning programs, or through postsecondary paths because it is a valid predictor of job performance.
How do I earn a Career Readiness Certificate? A Career Readiness Certificate is earned by completing the three WorkKeys® Assessments: Applied Math, Workplace Documents, and Graphic Literacy.
