Arkansas Afterschool Programs – Programs across the state, which focus on academic support, enrichment, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and college and career readiness—especially for high-need and students facing economic barriers.

Arkansas Children’s Hospital Job Shadowing Program – The Job Shadowing Program allows individuals to observe and learn about different healthcare roles in a hospital. Participants experience the hospital environment, may assist with some tasks, and gain insight into healthcare professionals’ responsibilities. The program emphasizes observation and learning, not direct patient care.

Arkansas Children’s Resource Connect – Search and connect to support. Financial assistance, food pantries, medical care, and other free or reduced-cost services.

Arkansas CiviForm – enables adult learners to apply for multiple state programs through a single, streamlined application, including WIOA training, SNAP, ARHOME, and LIHEAP.

Arkansas Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) – has a public website that provides real-time information on warming/cooling centers across Arkansas. In addition to warming/cooling shelters, the site includes locations for distribution centers, health and medical services, fire stations, and safe rooms. For real-time updates of this information across Arkansas, visit their citizen portal.

Arkansas Food Bank – Students can text FINDFOOD to 844-381-FOOD (3663). If you click under find the food, you will find the following: Pop-Up pantries, SNAP, and assistance programs. 

AFMC Home – AFMC is a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote excellence in health and health care through education and evaluation.

Arkansas Rural Health Partnership – Advancing the Health and Wellness of Rural Residents, Providers, and Healthcare Organizations

Arkansas 211 – Arkansas 211 has a database of over 19,000 resources to help you find the right services nationwide. Students dial 211 and someone is available to assist them 24/7. 

Central Arkansas Development Council – They have locations across the state and assist with transportation, food insecurity, utility assistance, tax assistance, single-parent scholarships, and weatherization. They are located across the state and in rural areas.

Center for Arkansas Legal Services – The Center for Arkansas Legal Services (CALS) provides free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals in Arkansas. They assist with a wide range of issues, including family law, housing, public benefits, consumer matters, and end-of-life planning. CALS also helps with veterans’ affairs, disability rights, and other individual rights cases.

Department of Human Services – Access Arkansas Resource – Assists with childcare, food, and medical insurance.

Legal Aid of Arkansas – Legal Aid is a nonprofit, public interest law firm that provides FREE legal services to low-income Arkansans with civil legal problems.

Quick Community Resource Guide and Quick Higher Education Guide – Includes information on food assistance, legal assistance, health care services, re-entry services, employment assistance, and higher education.

Rock Region Metro Disability and Discount Fares – Rock Region METRO offers discounted fares to eligible riders, including those with disabilities, seniors (65+), students (12+), and Medicare recipients. Discounted fares also apply to METRO Connect, which offers micro transit services in specific areas.
