TEA For Minor Parents
The TEA program is focused on helping young parents complete their education, attain their goals and secure employment. You could be eligible to take advantage of the following education and training opportunities leading to employment. Are you a Parent? Click on the link for publication.
Complete high school or attain a GED
Obtain additional education
On-the-Job Training (OJT) – Earn while you learn & Get paid while you learn your new job
Work Experience (WEX) training – Gain the experience needed to get a job in a specific field
Qualifications
- Have a child under the age of 18 living in the home
- Limited or no monthly income
- Be an Arkansas resident
- Be a United States citizen or lawful alien
You may be eligible for supportive services while attending school, training, or work experience activities in preparation for employment. LET US HELP YOUR FAMILY!
