Notice of Publication

The Western Arkansas Workforce Development Board announces the publication of the
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Local-Region Plan update for Program Years
2020-2023. The Western Arkansas Workforce Development Board serves Crawford,
Franklin, Logan, Polk, Scott, and Sebastian Counties in Western Arkansas.

This plan is available to the public and all interested organizations for review and
comment for the next thirty (30) days commencing March 18, 2023, at the Western
Arkansas Planning and Development District, Inc., located at 1109 South 16th Street, Fort
Smith, AR 72901. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. The plan will
be available on the website at westernarkansasworks.com as well, beginning on March 16,
2023.

Comments on the plan may be made in writing to the following address: Western
Arkansas Workforce Development Board, 1109 South 16th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
All comments received before the close of business on April 17, 2023, will be included
with the plan when submitted to the Arkansas Workforce Development Board.
