Mature Worker Initiative
Education and Life-Long Learning Opportunities
Leonardo da Vinci once said, "Learning never exhausts the mind." Many mature adults heed that advice and turn to education for self-fulfillment and to remain engaged with their community. Because higher educational facilities know that educating the mature population is just as important as educating the younger generations, all state-supported colleges or universities in Arkansas waive general student fees for anyone age 60 or older, making it easier and more economical for them to further their education. For those who only want to brush up on specific skills, several programs exist through various state agencies. Check out the following links to learn more!
