Located at the Hope Migrant Complex in Hope, Arkansas the Migrant Farm Labor Center is operated by the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services. The Hope Migrant Complex is a combined effort by a group of organizations dedicated in providing quality services to migrant seasonal farmworkers. We are committed in providing programs and services that improve the employment, educational, health and housing opportunities for the migrant community. In order for the Hope Migrant Complex to be able to provide a full encompassing package of services to meet the needs of the migrant family, there are four components required: Short-term housing assistance, educational services, emergency and retraining assistance; and health care services. Even though services offered target the migrant and seasonal farmworker, collectively, departments work to assist the surrounding communities as well. The Hope Migrant Complex also serves as a community shelter to those displaced by disaster - this was recently put to the test with the Katrina and Rita Hurricane Disasters.
